Dr. Kirby
I grew up in East Moline Illinois. We lived in town but my grandparents had a farm nearby that we worked at every Saturday. So I had the best of both worlds. I did my undergraduate at Illinois State University. I took a year off between undergrad and vet school. I graduated from vet school in 1998. My first job was at Whitney veterinary Hospital from 1998 until 2004. And then I was at associated veterinary clinic from 2004 until now.
I have two kids from my first marriage. My daughter Lauren is a freshman at Illinois State University studying elementary education. My son is a senior in high school and plans to attend Indiana University in Bloomington to study finance. My husband is a mechanical engineer at Matcor Manufacturing in Morton. We have been married for almost 6 years. We have one dog Gabby who is eight years old and is a pitbull Rottweiler mix. And we have two cats who are nine. Their names are Gracie and Olivia.
